Foundations San Francisco provides a comfortable setting for co-occurring substance use and mental health treatment. Our Intensive Outpatient Program offers compassionate, expert care from masters-level psychologists and therapists, and our services range

Our flexible, compassionate services accommodate patients’ schedules while also getting to the root of addiction issues, moving individuals toward healing and health. Some of our offerings include specialty and process groups, psychiatry services, life skills and stress management sessions, pain management services, spiritual counseling, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, as well as holistic option

Due to COVID-19 and the California wildfires, Foundations San Francisco is currently operating via Telehealth. We offer both day and evening programs that includes the following: a variety of group therapy, weekly individual therapy, psychiatry, yoga, meditation and two alumni programs. In this ever changing environment, our priority is the safety of our clients as well providing individualized care and treatment. Our programs continue to evolve to meet the needs of the clients we serve.

You are never just a number to us. Foundations San Francisco provides highly individualized, confidential treatment to help you in your recovery. Our masters-level therapists offer DBT, CBT and other evidence-based therapies alongside mindfulness and holistic practices with a flexible schedule. In addition, Foundations San Francisco offers 12-Step-optional programs where clinical decisions are driven by your unique needs. Our treatment program includes an on-site psychiatrist, who is available to assess patients for appropriate medications for cravings and co-occurring mental health disorders as well as consult with outside providers on a case-by-case basis.

Our program includes a range of holistic offerings aimed at relieving stress, providing healthy coping mechanisms and empowering patients to gain deeper insight through personal time for reflection and self-discovery. We have an on-site yoga studio with instruction focusing on Awakened Recovery Yoga that supports you in reclaiming your authentic and compassionate self. Meditation, acupuncture and massage all help decrease stress and aid in recovery both physically and mentally.
