We’re ready to invest in new opportunities. The door is open, and while we can’t see around to the other side, the glimpse through the gate holds great promise.

As we move ahead with a new venture, be wary of potential manipulation or deception. It could be from those around us or perhaps we are swinging our sword a bit carelessly, heedless of the pain our logic inflicts on others.

We may form new partnerships or reconnect with others or old endeavors if we mind the Page of Sword’s warning. We have the chance to fill our cup with strengthening bonds.

Cards: II of Swords reversed, VI of Swords, King of Pentacles

It has been long overdue to make an important decision but we seem to be trapped in indecision. Perhaps there’s too much unknown or there’s too much information that is keeping us in decision paralysis. We need to trust our intuition to make the best decision possible.

Some of the uncomfortable choices we might need to make this week is to let go of unhealthy habits, relationships, or processes. We may need to let go of something we truly cherished but is holding us back from a better future. The crow has lost feathers but still flies on in search of brighter skies.

Our Crow King of Pentacles is living in contentment amongst his wealth. His treasures are a safe place to perch, plenty of sustenance of apples, shade and shelter and hope for the future from the gold star overhead. This too can be our future if we stay determined and share our wisdom with others.

Cards: IX of Pentacles, VII of Pentacles, VIII of Wands reversed

The ground beneath our feet feels wobbly and unbalanced right now. There’s so many moving parts we can’t make head or tails of which direction to move in. Like leaves on a branch in a windstorm, we are hanging on and need to be patient for it to pass.

Our foundations are not as strong as we’d like yet we are continuing to fortify them. To add more support for more stability. This invested effort will build up to further shelter and protect us. Do not dawdle.

If we are patient and hard working, we will reap the rewards already in motion from previous efforts. What is the goal you seek? What is attainable this week in a small step in that direction? Like the falcon on his master’s arm, our focus will get us to the prize.

This week, be more cautious of those you trust with your most precious secrets, hopes, possessions, and connections. Our Queen is guarding her prize well with her feet holding the world away.

Avoiding conflict may have seemed like the best path, but it’s not taking us where we want to be. A storm coming our way will find us no matter where we flee to hunker down with our wealth a d loved ones.

Once the storm finds us, we may find ourselves losing our grip on things we once thought stable. Hold firm. Our cups may pour but they will serve as a steady foundation when we begin to recover.

Armor is a necessary precaution. But in some cases it is blinding us from true clarity. Many of us may be feeling disconnected and walled off, perhaps a little ice-y despite the summer warmth. Guard yourself but not so tightly that you cut off your trusted advisors and community.

We have been avoiding conflicts in hopes to keep the peace. How will this help in the long run? The most important progress civilizations have made has seldom ever been done without some sort of conflict. While we should be mindful of the potential impact of our words and choices, what is the greater danger of saying nothing?

Our everyday life is ever at a crossroads of decisions. We have hopes and dreams. We have worries and nightmares. Constant balancing acts of what should take our focus. Look towards the smallest circle of what you can control (yourself) and then the circle just outside it. What little bit of energy can you spend to make the changes you want to see?
