In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) we don’t just treat symptoms, we always address the root causee. Why? To fully support a patient’s health, we come up with a diagnosis based on the person’s constitutional patterns with the goal of bringing the person back to balance, homeostasis, and optimal function. A few tools used at On Point Acupuncture for addressing the deficiencies or excess patterns of the organs are: specific custom acupuncture points, customized herbal formulations, using heat therapy (such as moxibustion or infrared/ LED heat, and with Gua Sha and cupping therapy.

Symptoms of digestive organ deficiencies include lack of appetite, loose stools, diarrhea, bloating, low energy, fatigue or listlessness, pale and swollen tongue, and a thin, deep, or deficient pulse. If untreated, more severe symptoms could arise, such as immune suppression, coldness, excess damp conditions such as candida, excess phlegm, congestion, and more severe digestive complaints and fatigue.

At On Point Acupuncture, we want to extend our heartfelt support to those affected by the recent fires in Los Angeles. Community has always been our backbone, and in times of challenge, we come together stronger than ever. As we continue to prioritize your health and well-being, we’re excited to share that On Point Acupuncture will donate 10% of the price of all our services to the LA fire survivor charities now through February 15th, 2025. (*insurance billing and copays excluded.) 

As an L.A. native, much of my youth was spent in Altadena and Pasadena, a second home, filled with memories of where my grandparents lived for over 50 years. Seeing the images of my grandparents’ once beautiful neighborhood on the east side of Altadena destroyed by these fires and watching the stories of all the loss of life, loss of property, and animals who are suffering from these fires has been nothing but tragic. So many are in need and any little way we can contribute to relief efforts can collectively have a big impact.

Words of forgiveness and reconciliation. to live by! Ho’oponopono: the traditional Hawaiian mantra/ prayer/ divination practice that helps accelerate healing.
1. Identify the problem or conflict
2. Acceptance and take responsibility
3. Say the mantra over and over with an open heart and loving intention
4. Let go and trust the process 💞

One of the many services offered at On Point Acupuncture is a LED light therapy session while lying on top of a Healthyline infrared crystal lined table mat with PEMF therapy.

✨LED therapy is amazing for its use in reduction of pain, increased micro circulation, and to enhance cellular ATP (energy production.) The panels we use have multiple colored lights for treating skin conditions such as acne, scars, wound healing, and skin inflammation. It is also used for anti-aging treatments to increase collagen production, diminish fine lines, and reduce hyperpigmentation.

✨This patient has one LED light panel wrapped around her hip to treat hip pain and one on her upper back to treat pain in her scapula muscles. As she relaxed I played live sound healing 🎼 so she could drift off to her own magical place.
