A bit about my smile + Emotional health quiz ๐๐ฝ
I actually spend a lot of the time smiling. In a state of Santosa, as we would say in Yoga, or contentment.
But am I ALWAYS smiling? NO!! For example, I donโt smile at injustice, inequality, disrespect of nature, toxicity, etc. I hope I never do. I also donโt smile when Iโm sad. Or feeling low.
And, actually, I cry a lot. I actually feel like crying sometimes out of the blue for no reasonโฆ and I do. I let my self feel all the feels and honor what moves through my body and heart when it does.
If yoga has taught me anything, it is to embrace what is, when it is. The dark, the light, and the space in between.
So I guess why Iโm saying this is to inspire you to feel it all. Never let pressure of society to live in a bubble of happiness or perfection to keep you from processing your emotions. Please. The world would be in such a better place if we all did that.
