Dentistry is artistry … I recently realized that my paintings do not have any white colors in them & it’s because I am practicing with the white shades of teeth all day long! Just a few more days left to see these paintings before some of them find a new home… Showing all this weekend!!

This popped up in my email today… The photo was from last month. I was happy to be nominated on SF Gate’s “Best of Categories” and made it in the top 5 categories for Best Dental Office and Best Cosmetic Dentist from my patients… Had my practice for 25 years this month and yet it feels like it has flown by so quickly…Grateful to be able to still practice and serve the Bay Area community, grateful to be healthy and grateful for having wonderful people that surround and support me every day! Hope you are lucky to do the same in whatever career you choose to have…

Wanting to wish you a Happy Valentine’s Day before I head out to the office! It’s been a pink week…. For my husband and me, our motto is “everyday is supposed to be Valentine’s Day”! That’s why we try to do something special every week for not just my family, but for my dental team, too! I got these beautiful treats as gifts from ! They are divine! Hope you all have a wonderful day while I go back to making smiles healthy and beautiful!

What a fun night seeing other artists’ works and my own painting at the group art reception ! Meeting artists in the “art scene” (vs. seeing dentists at the conventions) is new, but very exciting for me! Having good friends come out on a weeknight to support my painting being shown at this show is also amazing!

People sometimes ask when I started painting? I started drawing things for my school classes when I was 5 years old. However, I never took an art class in school but attempted to take a couple of classes after dental school. I stopped midway through the classes because I thought they were too rigid for me!

Hence, here I am after having my own dental practice for almost 25 years! Everything has it’s time…Next September, I will be the featured artist! So, there will be a lot to do outside of having a dental practice serving my patients (& still loving that as well!)…
