My client posted a review last week and said that she didn't know she would have to coordinate a pickup at the hospital within hours of delivery.

Most hospitals require the placenta to leave within a couple of hours of the birth.

The solution to this is to come prepared. Either with my kit or your own cooler. All hospitals have packaging materials (tubs with lids, bags and ice) but if you show up with your own, you are less likely to forget to keep it.

This is my most cherished print, the only print. From my own homebirth with my littlest one.

It has been hanging on the wall on canvas since 2016 and hasn't faded. I wish I had one from every that I birthed. It's really such a special keepsake.

Bay Area Placenta Services provides placenta encapsulation to new parents in the San Francisco Bay Area. Included in service is Pick up and Drop off, a Cooler Bag (transport kit) and Dosage information for you to heal well and enjoy your baby. We also provide Postpartum, Lactation and Sleep Consultations. Breastfeeding classes that are customized and private are also available by request for a reasonable rate! We are passionate about you getting off to the right start with your new baby and family and want you to feel confident, educated and supported
