Hopelab We are a social innovation lab that creates behavior-change tech to help teens and young adults live

From our inception, Hopelab has focused on the health and well-being of teens and young adults. Our first project, Re-Mission, helped us understand the link between behavioral science and physical health, showing how changes in behavior can improve health outcomes for young people with cancer. Since then, we’ve built upon that foundational work to encourage childhood physical activity, design family-strengthening tools for young mothers and their babies, and help teenagers cultivate emotion-regulating strategies and skills. To make the greatest impact, we’ve worked with like-minded partners to scale these interventions and deploy them where they’re needed most.

Many LGBTQ+ kids, especially transgender youth, are suffering—more likely to feel anxious, depressed, and suicidal—because of the stress and pain they feel from a society that questions their existence and often refuses to protect them.

When the visibility of transgender people is threatened, human rights are threatened. We must band together to prevent blatant discrimination and stand up for what is right. Let us be clear. Transgender rights matter. Transgender visibility matters.
