Today, Italy took a step back in the rights of same-sex men. Future fathers are now restricted from building their families through surrogacy globally. Italian healthcare workers in clinics that offer surrogacy are at risk of prosecution. The Italian government’s classification of surrogacy as a crime that transcends borders compares it to terrorism and genocide. Sad that so many families will now have an additional stressor in starting their families. What are your thoughts on this decision?
