We are an established surgical office looking for someone who will fit in well with our practice. Our doctors are also on staff at California Pacific Medical Center.
You must possess top-notch communication and customer service skills. Our office is innovative and fast paced - be prepared to multitask and pay close attention to detail!
This person must be a hard-working, team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys resolving complex situations for patients.
Summary Duties:
- Assists the doctor by passing instruments, aspirating intra-oral fluids and mixing materials.
- Provides customer service support to patients by escorting them to and from the treatment room and prepping them for care by the doctor.
- Prepares all treatment rooms including, but not limited to, set-up, decontamination, sterilization of all instruments, cleaning and restocking.
- Maintains cleanliness of the lab and sterilizing area.
- Reviews patient’s medical history and progress from the previous visit if applicable.
Requirements:
- BLS/ACLS/OMSA and Xray license is a plus but if you don’t have it, we can help you achieve it.
- Prior customer service experience (dental or medical experience is a plus!)
- Strong written & verbal communication skills
- Able to work under stress.
- Proven ability to build relationships with people; must be service oriented
- An optimistic personality that sees opportunities, not just problems.
- Excellent time management skills to meet goals and deadlines
- Ability to multi-task effectively; organized and dependable
- We are willing to train a motivated individual that meets the other requirements of the position.
