NCAPIP releases statement on RFK Jr.'s dismissal of ACIP members:

“The action taken by the Secretary was capricious and malevolent, and undermines the integrity of the ACIP..."

"Of particular note to the Asian Pacific Islander community, the ACIP recommendation to provide vaccines to protect our community from the Hepatitis B virus has protected thousands from liver cancer and chronic hepatitis."

Demand the Reinstatement of ACIP -

The National Council of Asian Pacific Islanders (NCAPIP) urges the full reinstatement of the 17 members of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) following the dismissal of all its members by DHHS Secretary Robert Kennedy, Jr.

🌎 Now Available: Cultural Competency Training Modules for Physicians 🩺

We’re proud to announce the launch of five new training modules created in collaboration with leaders from the Alliance of Multicultural Physicians (AMP), including NCAPIP, NHMA, AAIP, and APAMSA.

✅ Why it matters:
Disparities in healthcare don’t begin in the exam room—they’re rooted in history, access, and lived experience. These modules are designed to equip physicians with the cultural humility and practical tools needed to care for Asian American, Native Hawaiian, Pacific Islander, American Indian, and Alaska Native communities.

🎥 What’s included:

- Historical context of health disparities
- Community-specific challenges and strengths
- Patient-centered care strategies
- Cross-cultural communication examples
- Downloadable glossary and resources

✨ Whether you're a physician, public health professional, or medical educator, these free modules offer timely insight for anyone committed to equity in care.

Boost your cross-cultural clinical skills with a quick, 30-minute training designed for busy providers! "The Human Touch: A Path to Patient-Centered Cross-Cultural Competency, Humility, and Safety" helps physicians address health disparities and improve patient care.

Developed by AMP, AAIP, NCAPIP, and NHMA, this course covers racial hierarchization in public health, the unique needs of diverse patient populations and real-world case studies from physicians.
