I don’t mind these cancellations.
Mom-to-be is in labor after a cervical ripening treatment. We were trying to prep her for an induction on Tuesday. She started naturally with some acupuncture and massage. Yay!

Now I have some openings tomorrow. Let me know if you want to come in.

1801 Bush St is where my clinic is located. When people visit me for the first time, they often say they’ve always wondered what was inside this building. Well, it was originally the mansion of Mary Ellen Pleasant—a pioneering Black abolitionist and entrepreneur. She is also known as “The Mother of Human Rights in California.”

Right now, there’s an exhibit called “Black and Gold” at Fort Point (through 11/2) that explores Black history during the Gold Rush era, and Mary Ellen Pleasant plays a central role in it. I highly recommend checking it out!
