I wanted to re-introduce myself today. I am a former commercial real estate executive turned Empowerment and Mindset Coach. I help high-achievers have full authenticity and true inner confidence, love more, and live purposefully.



I am an alumnus of Vanderbilt University and was named 40 under 40 executives to watch by the San Francisco Business Journal during my 18-year career in commercial real estate. Amid success at work and having a husband and 2 young kids, I had a nagging sense that there’s more to life and an inner longing for more. I discovered and fell in love with meditation, healed myself from an autoimmune disease in the process, and made the big leap to begin a new career in wellness in my 40s!



I am the Founder of Anchor Meditation. In 2018, I opened a meditation studio in San Francisco. During the pandemic, I began coaching people privately since the studio was closed and realized my passion for connecting with and supporting people 1:1.



In 2022 I decided to close the studio, and now coach people to step beyond past limitations, have full authenticity and true inner confidence, and truly heal and thrive on every level! I am a trauma-informed certified meditation teacher (Lifestyle Meditation), breathwork facilitator (Revelation Breathwork), and reiki healer (Kelsey J Patel). I am a student and teacher of “The Way of Mastery” (Shanti Christo Foundation) and “A Course in Miracles” (Foundation for Inner Peace).

Liminal space is a temporary in-between space where you and your life transition, transform, and evolve. It’s the space where you’re on the verge of something new, and in between “what was” and “what will be.” For example, you finish high school but haven’t started the next chapter in life, the loss of a job, a breakup, the death of a loved one, or embarking on entrepreneurship, a new job, parenthood, or moving to a new place. It’s a gateway between chapters in your life where you don’t know what’s coming, and many things are possible in the near future.

It’s a space full of contradictory emotions. It can feel uncomfortable and disorienting because often, there’s a part of you that wants to move forward and a part of you who wants to maintain your current reality. You may feel a sense of loss for what has passed, and mixed emotions of excitement, confusion, and fear.

When we’re in a liminal space, we’re out of our comfort zone, but it’s important to recognize that comfort zones are built by limiting beliefs! What’s keeping you safe is often keeping you small.

Yes, it’s a space of uncertainty, but it’s also full of possibilities and potential as we await what’s to come. When you’re in a liminal space you can expand your comfort zone by examining and dismantling limiting beliefs. When you do this, your “comfort zone” automatically expands, making it far easier to confidently succeed in whatever you feel called to do!

If you’re in a liminal space and could benefit from some support navigating toward what’s next, I would love to guide and empower you to be more relaxed and centered in your heart as you explore what’s next. There’s an old Cherokee story:

One evening, an elderly Cherokee Chief told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people.

He said, “My son, the battle is between the two wolves inside us all. One wolf is evil. It is angry, envious, jealous, sorrowful, regretful, greedy, arrogant, self-pitying, guilty, inferior, dishonest, prideful, superior, and egoic.

The other wolf in this battle is good. He is joyful, peaceful, loving, hopeful, serene, humble, kind, benevolent, empathic, generous, honest, compassionate, and faithful.”

The grandson thought about it for a moment, and then asked his grandfather, “Which wolf wins?” The old Cherokee replied simply, “The one you feed.”

At any given moment, you have the opportunity to listen to the voice of expansion that wants you to move forward toward your vision of what you would truly love. Or you can choose to listen to the voice of constriction that wants you to stay stuck and keeps you in fear. Which wolf wins?

When you are faced with challenges or opportunities, you may hear yourself thinking, “I can’t” or, “I don’t know how.” It’s important you challenge these types of thoughts because often they’re not true.

The voice of expansion often says: “I can.” “I will…” “I choose to…”

The voice that you listen to is crucial to empower your dreams to become reality.

Your power is that you are free, you get to choose which voice you listen to, and you get to decide!

It sounds simple to notice what voice you notice and follow up with steps to re-pattern your thinking, but it takes consistent practice and repetition. One of the most practical, proven benefits of meditation is how it helps us focus our attention. I believe the most empowering and important thing we can do is to manage our focus and our energy.

Energy flows where attention goes, so feed the voice of expansion and starve the voice of constriction. Follow the voice that says “I can do this.” “I’ve got this.” “I choose to do this and I’m gonna do my very best.” This creates powerful momentum and empowers you to lead yourself toward your growth, freedom, and expansion!
