Everyday, RAMS teams meet people where they are: a student walking into the Wellness Center for the first time, a job seeker rediscovering their strengths, or a neighbor in crisis receiving care instead of judgment on the street. These moments remind us why RAMS’ work matters and how your support can shape someone’s path forward.

As we close out the year, we invite you to help sustain this impact. Your gift, in any amount, ensures more people can find care, resilience, and support when they need it most.

10 of 10 Reasons to Give: RAMS Creates Safe Spaces for Students

"The Wellness Center became my safe haven when I needed someone to talk to. The counselors genuinely care and helped me develop strategies to manage my anxiety. I honestly don't think I would have made it through high school without them," shared by an SFUSD student.

Through RAMS’ Wellness Centers program, students report feeling heard, respected, and supported in their wellness journey. Over the past 10 years, the program has consistently rated in the 90th percentile for client satisfaction.

Your support helps keep the doors to care remain open for young people in a place they feel safe.

Happy Kwanzaa!

Observed from December 26 to January 1, Kwanzaa honors African American heritage, history, and shared values. The holiday is guided by the seven principles of Nguzo Saba, including unity, self-determination, collective responsibility, cooperative economics, purpose, creativity, and faith, which center community, reflection, and collective growth.

As we celebrate Kwanzaa, we recognize the importance of coming together, uplifting one another, and embracing shared purpose.

9 of 10 Reasons to Give: RAMS Empowers Students to Strengthen Youth Mental Wellness

At the RAMS Wellness Centers Program, our Youth Outreach Workers, who are student representatives, play a vital role in engaging their peers across all of the 19 SFUSD public high schools. The Youth Outreach Workers help reduce stigma and point students in the direction of the Wellness Center’s prevention services that make mental health care more accessible for all students.

If 10 people give just $10, a student can continue accessing the program support and peer connection they need.
