Iconic American journalist, Katie Couric, announced she was diagnosed with breast cancer a few months ago. Even though she has a family history of other cancers, pancreatic and colon, she was shocked by this discovery. Katie also revealed she was actually SIX months overdue for her annual mammogram and can't imagine what might have happened if she had put it off any longer. By sharing her experience, Katie reminds us all to prioritize our breast health and to stay on top of our annual screenings.
