We opened this past week and damn!! What a freakin grand opening!!

BRINY BBs we got you covered all over the menu—the Fried Pickle Kakiage is theeeee starter, and the Pickle Lady with dilly cream, salmon belly conserva, and our Burger Party Dill Relish is IT IT. Come on by!! Open Tues-Sat ✌🏽👽 !

A *very* ugly cake to celebrate 3 YEARS OF UGLY!! 🎊🎂🥂

Damn y’all 🥲 Proud of this blur of a year where we managed to get a few cool things done:
🥒 Rescued 40,00bs of produce from going to waste
🥇Won 2 awards for our Burger Party Dills and Dilly Carrots for best pickles in the US
♻️Helped develop the world’s first Upcycled Foods Certification on the board of Association
💯Gained sweeeet new retailers like for a total of 100 stores!
🍕Are in the process of opening a restaurant focused on upcycled ingredients, byproducts, offcuts, and bycatch !!

And it’s all thanks to you!! 🥲💞 You briny lil babies!! Who knew the venn diagram of people who love pickles and people who care about the planet is a single overlapping circle!! We freakin love you, thank you for making this food waste adventure possible ✨

Trash cucumbers 🚮

“Food waste” can be a confusing/gross?/scary term. But once you see that wasted food looks like these cukes here, it’s hard not to think wtf are these cute lil thangs going to waste for?!

Crooks & nubs are what they’re called, for their stubby and tapered bodies. They have sun spotting—the lighter colored bits—a totally natural occurrence. They’re also classified as worthless to most all commercial buyers.

BUT they’re even more perfect and expressive to us, and of course, taste amazing. You should know! These are the cukes you’ve been eating in all our jars of pickles 😊

Clearly a biiiig production run today! Look out for freshies at all your fave retailers this week 👀

During holidays celebrating bounty, it’s way too easy to think of wasted, excess food as “just part of the tradition.” The vast majority of food waste happens in the home, on days like thanksgiving, when we over buy, cook way too much, and waste a ton.

We’ve all been there, but NOT THIS YEAR friends!! Hopefully this nifty lil guide can help you save some of your food from the trash this year. We alllllllllll need to do our part 🙏🏽🍗🥗🥧💚🥂
