Ask the Coach: How do you go about creating a New Year’s resolution for yourself, and how do you keep them?
As we step into a new year, our coaches share how they set meaningful resolutions—and actually follow through.
Gavin (): “I spend time reflecting on the year just gone, my aim is to maintain a healthy balance between my physical, emotional, and mental health. I then plan on how I can improve that balance in the New Year—maybe I need to be more consistent with my strength training? Maybe I need to socialize more? Spend more quality time with my family? Or maybe I need to visit a new place or try a new hobby? I then make a plan and work toward achieving my resolutions.”
Tracy (): “I start by setting goals that support my own well-being, knowing that taking care of myself allows me to be fully present for my clients. I focus on intentions that help me slow down and create balance, including prioritizing things I might otherwise put off, like doctor’s appointments. By doing so, I can consistently show up feeling grounded, healthy, and energized.”
