ACRO is a speech and activity enabled handheld device that helps family caregivers motivate their loved ones to stay active.

We are piloting with AgeSong elderly community. We already realized that older adults are much more capable than we think they are and ACRO was able to give a them chance to demonstrate their true potential.

Third day at ODTU Teknokent San Francisco

Summary of today's session: Customer development is a challenge as tough as product development, and these two go hand in hand. Just go out out there and find customers, talk to them from the very moment zero.

We were a little naughty today as we did not attend the second session, but instead went out and visited AgeSong Assisted Living center :)

AgeSong’s mission is to design and build eldercare communities and manage them from an elder-centered perspective which makes them quite an exceptional group to work together.

We'll get in touch with them again tomorrow, and we'll see if we can get a good start in working with the patients and the caregivers.

Second day at ODTU Teknokent San Francisco

We have got two sessions today. Financial, legal and cultural issues of setting up business in US have been discussed, then we learned more about customer development.

After the sessions we attended San Francisco Elevator Pitch event. Sencer gave a 2min pitch. We have been given very constructive suggestions about how to move on with our journey towards fighting with dementia. On top of that we got the first place at the event and won a scholarship to attend a larger pitching event.

First day at T-Jump

We have got three sessions on setting up business in US. Right after the sessions we met Alzheimer's Association San Francisco branch. We might even get part in Walk to End Alzheimer’s movement.

We are looking for machine learning developers as interns.

Interns will help us develop basic machine learning applications to interpret data obtained through various wearable sensors to compute and estimate emotion and activity of the user. Internship will take 6-8 weeks, and will start on January 18th.

We are looking for motivated Psychology students as interns to help us fight with Dementia.

Konfeansta Challenge UP! finaline kalan 12 IoT takiminin yaptiklari sahane islere tanik olurken, konferans kapsaminda, ozellikle ilk ve orta seviye demansli kisiler icin gelistirdigimiz "Egzersiz Arkadasi Robot Sciro" is fikrimizi sunacagiz, ve bize ayrilan standimizda IoT onculeriyle tanisma ve fikir alisverisi yapma firsatindan da faydalanacagiz. Ve belki biraz gezeriz ;)

sciRobot is attending Unbound London Conference.
We will listen to 12 IoT rock stars presenting their business ideas. We will give a pitch about our project dedicated to mild and moderate dementia patients, "Exercise Companion Robot Sciro". We will also have the opprtunity to present our prototype, meet IoT leaders and exchange ideas with them at our booth. And maybe enjoy London a bit ;)
