🐾💙 Today on National Dog Day, we celebrate the unconditional love, joy, and comfort that dogs bring into our lives — and especially into the lives of the young people at Edgewood.

Each week, thanks to our wonderful partnership with the SF SPCA, our amazing volunteer, Anne Magill and her incredible dog Zay visit our campus. Together, they bring calm, smiles, and healing moments to children who are navigating big challenges. Zay has a gift for making kids feel seen and cared for, and Anne’s kindness and dedication remind us what true community looks like.

We are deeply grateful for this partnership and for the way Anne and Zay brighten our campus. On this special day, we honor them and all the therapy dogs whose love and resilience help young people feel safe, supported, and never alone. 🐶💛

It’s National Mental Health Awareness Month but did You Know?

- Almost half of high school students report feeling persistently sad or hopeless.
- 1 in 3 experienced poor mental health in the past month.

There is hope—and together, we can be part of it. For nearly 175 years, Edgewood has been a lifeline for young people, their families, and their caregivers. We believe every youth deserves to be
seen, heard, and supported. Partnering with educators, nurses, and caregivers, we provide
