I need a break. The break I didn’t even realize I needed. Being on this island made it so clear how far I had been running without stopping, how much I was carrying without even questioning it. Somewhere between the quiet mornings, the ocean, and the slower pace, I felt myself come back.

Not a new version, just the one that got buried under the noise. Sometimes it’s not about more discipline or pushing harder. It’s about creating space, resetting, and remembering what actually matters.

Lately I’ve been in all of it: stress, travel, off routine, under sleeping… the exact conditions where things usually fall apart and I caught myself thinking what actually keeps me on track when life isn’t ideal?

It’s definitely not more discipline in the moment, rather it’s what I do before the moment hits, how I eat before I’m starving, how I structure my days even loosely and how I respond when things go off instead of spiraling

Sharing what’s been working for me lately; not perfectly, but consistently enough to stay on track.

Curious what helps you stay on track when life gets messy?

Are you team strong or team skinny?

I don’t take any of this for granted.

The ability to move.
To choose.
To show up.

Grateful every single day for everything I get to do. ❤️

April started and for once I didn’t create a 47-step life overhaul plan. Just a few simple goals that I can actually keep and a decision to stop being my own hardest critic every time I miss a day.

Turns out… things work better like this.

Still disciplined just less self-sabotage

I’m finally on my own side.

What did you set for April… realistic or slightly unhinged?

2026 is the year of growth. Not just in fitness, in everything.

I noticed that almost every goal I set somehow comes back to the same word. Grow. Grow stronger. Grow the business. Grow my discipline. Grow into the version of me I know is there.

And the truth is, it’s not the easiest word to live by.

This morning (middle of the night I should say) I woke up in one of those moods. Thinking about progress. Feeling the fatigue. Wondering how to make it feel a little lighter. Maybe it’s the jet lag. Maybe it’s the effort of staying consistent while traveling. Maybe it’s just what growth actually feels like.

Because growth isn’t always exciting. It’s not always motivating. It’s not always visible.

It’s showing up when you’re tired. It’s choosing again when it would be easier not to. It’s being in that in between space where you’ve outgrown your old self but haven’t fully stepped into the next one yet.

And that space can feel heavy.

But I think this is the work. Not the perfect days. Not the easy wins. This part.

So today I’m not trying to rush it or make it feel perfect. I’m just staying in it. Moving through it. Letting it shape me, even when it feels slow.

Living growth is a process. And I’m in it.

You don’t need a harder workout. You need a better relationship with food.

Around 70–80% of your results come from how you eat, not just how you train. Workouts matter, but they can’t compensate for underfueling, restriction, or inconsistency.

Fueling your workouts so you actually perform.
Eating enough so your body feels safe, not deprived.
Building habits you can live with, not ones you need to escape from.

That’s where real progress comes from.

sometimes when your days are full in the right way everything else just fades into the background and there’s nothing left to say about anyone else anymore
