Felton Institute was founded in 1889 and responds to human needs by providing cutting edge, evidence-based mental health and social services that transform lives. Offering more than 50 acclaimed and honored programs that address homelessness, mental health, prenatal, adolescent, adult and senior needs, Felton Institute provides services in San Francisco, Alameda, San Mateo, Marin, and Monterey counties. Felton is named for its social services pioneer and executive director Dr. Katharine “Kitty” Felton who was called the ”conscience of San Francisco” and was committed to ensuring that children and families in crisis have access to social services and resources in order to help them build upon their inherent strengths and develop self-sufficiency.

Felton’s Visitacion Valley Senior Health & Wellness had a Halloween & Senior Talent Show at The Hub in SF! The event was a wonderful success thanks to our amazing partners at Mercy Housing — with special thanks to Andrea and the entire team for helping us create such a fun and festive gathering. We kicked things off with a pre-Zumba dance session to get everyone energized before the talent show. With around 70–80 attendees, creative costumes, and lively performances.

Register for our upcoming online course: "Mental Disorders in Youths and Adolescents." This course provides an overview of common mental disorders with onset in adolescence and early adulthood and their treatment options. It outlines the methodology in the assessment of such disorders in this population. It emphasizes the importance of making the proper differential diagnosis in the development of an appropriate case management plan and intervention strategies.

Early-Bird Registration provides a discount of $25 until November 13th. Registration is open through November 19th until 8:59 PM.
