Felton Institute is proud to be featured in a new publication by the UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning highlighting innovative approaches to reskilling and upskilling for older adults.

This report, Implementing Effective Reskilling and Upskilling Learning Programs for Older Adults, includes a case study of Felton’s SCSEP program, “Reconnecting to the World,” developed with contributions from Dr. Robin Ortiz, Director of Research, Training, and Evaluation (Pages 33-40). The case study explores the real barriers older adults face when re-entering the workforce and how SCSEP is helping break them down. From increasing access to opportunities to building confidence and job skills, the program is all about creating meaningful opportunities and supporting older adults as they reconnect to the workforce.

We’re also grateful to Amy Yu, Director of Workforce & Engagement Services, along with SCSEP participants and partners, for their valuable contributions to this effort.

AQCRT provides 24/7 community-based support for low-level, non-life-threatening 911 calls—offering mental health care, service connections, and lifesaving skills in partnership with the City of Antioch, the Antioch Police Department, and local organizations.
