The Bayview Drop-In Center partners monthly with the SFCCC for "SOS Fridays" to provide care and support for people and pets — goats included! This month, we were lucky to have Jamie, Andrea, and Mauricio from Feeding San Francisco, a student-led initiative turning unused meal plan dollars into essentials for unhoused community members. The future is in good hands!

When 9-year-old Kairo made his birthday wish, he didn't ask for gifts. He asked to share cupcakes with people who may not always get to celebrate special moments.

His mom Krystle brought his vision to the Bayview Drop-In Center, and we were deeply moved. In the spirit of his generosity, we surprised Kairo with a Spider-Man celebration of his own, because kindness deserves to be celebrated too!

Moments like these remind us why community care matters. Kairo is proof that the next generation is leading with empathy, and that small acts of kindness have the power to change the world. hashtag
