Did you know? Cholesterol is a waxy, fat-like substance made in the body to build cells and make vitamins and other hormones. However, having too much cholesterol can pose a serious health risk such as increasing the development of heart diseases and strokes. If you want to learn more about cholesterol, please attend the National Cholesterol Education Month Workshop at the NEMS Health Education Department.

The VIP Lounge Show will feature NEMS pharmacists Calvin Kwok, PharmD, and Qi Jiao Kuang, PharmD, on KTSF, airing TONIGHT, 8/21, at 8:30 PM and again on Sunday, 8/24, at 9:30 PM! 🎥✨ (The show will be presented in Cantonese.)
