Meet our Fellows: Dr. Andrew Sawires, UCSF Spine Fellowship
In the realm of spine surgery, dedication and expertise unite to elevate patient care to new heights. Allow us to introduce the exceptional Dr. Andrew Sawires, M.D., one of our three Spine Fellows this year in the UCSF Department of Orthopaedic Surgery.
With a medical background that encompasses a residency at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City and medical school at Columbia University, Dr. Sawires is not only exceptionally well-trained but also profoundly passionate about helping patients recover and thrive. Whether it's preventing injuries, delivering top-notch care, or guiding patients on their journey to regain mobility, Dr. Sawires is there, making a difference one patient at a time.
"What I love about this fellowship is that you get to work with six of the most highly trained spine surgeons in the nation and learn six different ways to manage complex patients. It’s an incredible learning experience."
