The Liver Circle is Growing! Calling All Liver Health Advocates & Patients
At The Liver Circle, Inc. (TLC), we believe that no liver patient should ever have to walk their path alone—and they shouldn't have to spend hours searching the internet to find the help they deserve.
There are incredible resources and non-profits out there, but finding the right one during a difficult medical journey can feel overwhelming. That’s where we come in. We don't recreate the wheel; we connect the spokes. TLC acts as a centralized hub, doing the heavy lifting to match each individual patient with the exact support, resources, and existing organizations that fit their unique needs.
Our mission is powered by our passionate, boots-on-the-ground advocates. TLC advocates are deeply active in the community, working directly in hospital centers and meeting patients right where they are. Because our goal is resource consolidation, our advocates naturally collaborate with many different national and local organizations. They are the ultimate guides for patients navigating liver health and organ donation. Check out some of our advocates in action on our website. While you are there, subscribe to our newletter or fill out our advocate interst form.
Are you already volunteering with another liver health non-profit or organ donation group? Wonderful! We want you anyway.
The Liver Circle is built on collaboration, not competition. Being affiliated with other liver health groups doesn't mean you can't be a part of TLC. In fact, it makes you a stronger asset! You can absolutely enjoy all the benefits of the TLC community, utilize our resource network, and serve as an advocate for us while staying dedicated to your other affiliations.
Are you a patient or caregiver looking for support? Let us help you find the right organization, peer group, or resources for your specific journey.
Are you a survivor, caregiver, or ally looking to advocate? Join our circle and help us bridge the gap in patient care.
Drop a comment below, or send us a direct message to connect with us today! Let’s make the liver health community stronger, together. We can't wait to meet you!

The Liver Circle extends our deepest, most heartfelt condolences to Liver Education Advocates (LEA) on the passing of their visionary founder, devoted father, cherished grandfather, and beloved friend to all, Tony Villiotti.

Tony was a true beacon of hope—an inspiring, unwavering voice for everyone fighting liver disease, and a larger-than-life advocate for the gift of organ donation. His passion transformed lives, and his legacy will continue to guide the community he served so selflessly.

To Betsy Villiotti and Gina Madison, we carry this profound sorrow alongside you. Yet, even in grief, we find comfort and rejoice in knowing that Tony is resting peacefully at the right hand of God, watching over you and guiding your steps each day. During this difficult time, we pray that you lean gently on your faith, find strength in each other, and feel the immense love surrounding you from the countless lives Tony touched.

If you would like to honor Tony’s remarkable life and keep his mission alive, please consider making a memorial donation to Liver Education Advocates.

Programming Note: Our Couch Chat featuring Kendon Greene, Founder of Beautiful Scars: The Movement has been rescheduled to NEXT Wednesday, May 20th at 3 PM ET.

Visit https://www.thelivercircle.org/couchchat for more details and zoom information!

You are not going to want to miss this!

Kendon is a powerful voice for patient advocacy and resilience. His journey is defined by his triumph over a near-fatal battle with alcohol-associated cirrhosis and a life-saving liver transplant. Despite facing a less than 1% statistical probability of survival, he emerged as a "glitch in the system" to prove that recovery is possible even when the odds are stacked against you.

As the founder of Beautiful Scars: The Movement, Kendon bridges the gap between medical data and the human soul, teaching others to view their medical journeys not as signs of weakness, but as "blueprints for their greatest strengths". Combining lived experience with leadership to humanize medicine and inspire those navigating the complexities of liver health and addiction recovery.
