Hello Plumas County Friends!
I am asking your help in identifying how best I may serve our community with my skills. Please take a minute to read and reply IF you are interested in what I have to offer.
What kind of Yoga or Meditation Class would you want to attend in Quincy and at what time? Or would you prefer a virtual class? I feel like I feel that have a lot to offer people in Quincy but I am having a hard time figuring out how to best do that.
I am both a PT and a Certified Yoga Therapist. I have close to 2000 hours of Viniyoga training. And I have 30 years of PT experience (orthopedic, chronic pain, pelvic floor, Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson’s, are my areas of strength).
I can blend Yoga and PT principles. I have worked primarily doing one on one work. Link to my website is below. You can read about me and about what Yoga Therapy is there.
I can teach yoga for strengthening (for all levels: athletes and deconditioned seniors and all who are in-between) balance, back pain, shoulder pain, neck pain, scoliosis, postural strength, pelvic floor , hips, core strength, Parkinsons, etc.
I can lead you into deep meditations for eliciting peace, for cleansing, for nourishing, for self-inquiry, and so much more. I can blend yoga asana (poses) with meditation. My teaching includes breath work that is appropriate for the physical or mental condition and the individual’s capacity.
I can teach group workshops and classes (meditation and or Yoga) focused physical issues named above as well as the following and more: chronic pain, stress reduction, anxiety, depression, PTSD, insomnia, incontinence, grief, 12 step recovery, managing chronic illness, support for caregiver’s, spiritual development and presence, and Yoga philosophy; the Yoga Sutras.
LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU WOULD SUPPORT / SHOW UP FOR, and when and how you would like to have your experiences; virtual or live.
I am committed to making my teachings affordable.
