I invite you to come join me in an extraordinary experience in the high foothills of the Sange De Cristo Mountains of Northern New Mexico this July.
This program is a beloved experience that many therapists attend. We have 6 days/5 nights in the lush, high mountain range of northern New Mexico to drop into a liminal state where dreams, sensations, and imagery coalesce to bring about a sense of deep belonging, presence and creative expansion.
The program culminates in a solo daylong experience on this exquisite land. The experience is rejuvenating, inspiring and a chance to go deeply inside one’s self.

It is also an embodied experience of ecotherapy.
CA BBSE licenses are eligible to attain 8 CEU units for those who are interested in applications and philosophies of some of these practices in clinical or other healing modalities, with optional didactic sessions.
This program is an experiential module that satisfies (1/5) the of the Holos Institute EcoPsychology Certificate Program. (details to be posted by 2025 summer’s end).

�The retreat as a whole is an invitation to drop our usual modes of perception and expand one senses into the natural world, cultivating a sense of what Joanna Macy calls the "ecological self" - where one finds one's place in the family of all beings. We will use a set of nature-based meditations and contemplative practices that I have been developing for the last 20+ years. Drum lead trance states will guide an exploration of our inner landscapes and look at how the out landscape mirrors the inner. This retreat cultivates a deep intimacy with the natural world. Reveling in awe and wonder, there will be a gentle invitation to express the experience with art and poetry. There is one day in mindful silence and solo time on the land. There is an optional morning dream tending gathering where we track how the land is informing our psyches.��
Past participants always report a profound shift in their self-perception and a renewal of hope and spirit.��

California clinicians with BBSE license can earn 8 CE credits while attending lunchtime didactic sessions that explore how the processes utilized at this retreat illustrate the principles of ecopsychology and ecotherapy.��
