I’ve been avoiding this post for a week now- it’s time to say …not goodbye but Hasta Luego! Due to personal life choices and new adventures I am closing The Walking Inward Company- although somewhat sad at this door closing I know another door will open in the future. I enjoyed being creative and sharing my vision with others. The support from all of you was overwhelming and so amazing to experience. I’ve enjoyed this community so much. Grateful for all that has been learned and experienced- again, Hasta Luego / until next time!

Our small candle making Latinx owned business will be at the Water Lantern Festival -tickets still available this Sunday on May 1! Event from 5pm to 9:30pm located at 6099 Winfield Blvd San Jose at Almaden Lake Park. We make handpoured soy wax scented candles that are inspired by our own personal stories and handcrafted with a little special ingredient called love. We will also be selling a Special Self-Care Bundle for Mother's Day. This Self-Care Bundle will include, one scented candle of your choice, a pair of earrings and a match kit. So this Sunday let's light up the night with lanterns and CANDLES!

Working on a new candle can be fun- figuring out the scent, the vessel, the wick, and wax … but sometimes there are hiccups in production. Recently it’s been getting harder and harder to get the wax from my supplier- delivery/transport issues. It might be time to switch waxes- with that comes testing, testing, and more testing. So at this point I hope Mama Sana (part 2)- scents of chamomile and aloe - will be available by Mother’s Day. In the meantime there are plenty of other options to choose from on our website! Link in bio!
