Today our residents visited a local Persian café with a calm, exotic and welcoming atmosphere. The aroma of freshly baked pastries and soft Persian music created a pleasant setting, while the gentle sound of a small fountain added to the sense of tranquility. Our British low-tea party with friends in the community art studio feels equal parts cozy and creative! We talked about history and traditions of British tea drinking and practised to hold our cups “ the British way”. Our residents raised “bubbly” to toasted good times, good company and enjoyed scrumptious smoked salmon dill sandwiches and variety of tea cookies.
