Many traditional kitchen products, such as plastic containers, cutting boards, and non-stick pans, contain harmful chemicals that can leach into your food and ultimately into your body. These chemicals have been linked to various health issues, including hormonal disruption, cancer, and reproductive problems…..

Using non-toxic products like silicone food bags, glass containers, and stainless steel pans can help reduce your exposure to these harmful chemicals. Silicone is a safe and durable alternative to plastic, glass containers are non-reactive and do not leach harmful chemicals into your food, and stainless steel is a non-toxic and long-lasting option for cookware.

By making the switch to non-toxic products, you can create a safer and healthier environment for yourself

📍Remember - you don’t have to do ALL of these at the same time.
ONE small change can make a big difference over time🤍

As a holistic nutritionist, I am not only about how and what to eat, but also about what kitchen accessories we use, what we cook with, what we wear on our skin and of course what we drink……💦

- Plastic bottles contain chemicals like phthalates, bisphenol A (BPA), and polyvinyl chloride (PVC). These chemicals can leach into water and when ingested they can disrupt our hormonal balance

- Endocrine disruption: Phthalates and BPA found in plastic have been linked to endocrine disruption. These chemicals can interfere with our hormones, leading to reproductive problems

- Toxic additives: Certain plastics, such as PVC, contain toxic additives like lead, cadmium, and mercury.

- Disruption of gut microbiome: plastic particles in our water can disrupt the balance of our gut microbiome, which plays a crucial role in our overall health.

- Negative impact on fertility: Plastic chemicals, such as phthalates, have been shown to negatively affect fertility in both men and women. They can disrupt s***m quality, reduce s***m count, and affect female reproductive health.

Staying away from plastic bottles and investing in a good water filter should be everyone’s priority!!!

What can you say? Don’t you think it’s just a bottle of water anymore?

A morning routine for hormone balance can help set the tone for the rest of your day and support overall hormonal health☀️

Here are some suggestions for a morning routine focused on hormone balance:

🍳Balanced breakfast: Eat a nutritious breakfast that includes a balance of protein, healthy fats, and carbohydrates.
This can help stabilize blood sugar levels and support hormonal balance throughout the day.

💦Hydrate: Start your day by drinking a glass of water to rehydrate your body after a night of sleep. Staying hydrated is important for overall hormonal health.

🧘‍♀️Mindful breathing or meditation: Spend a few minutes practicing deep breathing exercises or meditation to reduce stress levels. Chronic stress can disrupt hormonal balance, so incorporating mindfulness practices can be beneficial.

🤸‍♀️Gentle movement or exercise: Engage in light stretching, yoga, or a gentle workout to get your blood flowing and boost circulation. Exercise can help regulate hormones and improve mood.

🌤️Get natural light exposure: Spend some time outdoors or near a window to expose yourself to natural light. Natural light exposure helps regulate the body’s circadian rhythm and supports hormonal balance.

Remember, everyone’s body is unique. It’s important to listen to your body and make adjustments to your routine based on your individual needs and preferences.
