Interested in a posture class without floor exercises? On Monday 10/28, our class starts with 30 minutes of chair-based exercises. New attendees can opt to stay for or skip the floor portion. Suitable for older adults, those with vertigo, or mobility restrictions.

I asked Sue for help with my constant back pain and at 89 years of age was not too hopeful, but after our first session I began to improve. By doing the exercises regularly, I was able to lower my pain level to the point I canceled my steroid injection. THE BAD WORKOUTS ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT ONES!

Have you read Atomic Habits by James Clear? I've listened to the audio book and am working my way through the workbook.

He says Focus on Who you want to become not WHAT you want to achieve. So instead of saying "I want to lose 10 pounds" a person could say "I want to be an active person who exercises daily."

Changing your beliefs isn’t nearly as hard as you might think. There are two steps.
1. Decide the type of person you want to be.
2. Prove it to yourself with small wins.

Here is one of his ideas from his weekly newsletter.

"The bad workouts are the most important ones. It's easy to train when you feel good, but it's crucial to show up when you don't feel like it—even if you do less than you hope.

Going to the gym for 15 minutes might not improve your performance, but it reaffirms your identity. It's not always about what happens during the workout. It's about becoming the type of person who doesn't miss workouts.”
