My Purpose
Recently, I was asked to speak to a health class about First Aid and CPR. I was nervous and a little intimidated. After all, what could I possible have to share that would interest a bunch of teenagers? But as I thought about all that I had learned from my job, I soon realized that I had something to share and I ended the class wishing I had more time.
From that moment on, I knew what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I started researching the certifications I'd need to begin this journey and got more excited about the potential to see this passion become an actual business. After I applied for my certification, I once again had fear about what I had committed to. But after completing the certification and being given the opportunity to teach, the dream of a far reaching service once again filled my mind.
I am now taking my first step on Facebook; writing and sharing articles. I offer services through it but my focus for this page is to be an inspiration and give me a platform to share the subject I love.
My motto is “it matters to us, for when it matters the most.” A simple phrase that packs in a lot of heart. Life matters to me, and that is what I’m trying to protect. So if we have the training and we have the courage to act, we have given the world our best. It matters to me what I teach others, because some day what they had learned may matter to someone else in need.
