🌍☕️ Bean Around the World: Papua New Guinea ☕️🌍

Our residents traveled the world one cup at a time as we explored the rich flavors of coffee from Papua New Guinea! We learned how coffee is grown in the lush mountain highlands by small family farmers and enjoyed tasting its smooth, balanced flavor together. Great conversations, curious minds, and plenty of smiles made this another wonderful Bean Around the World experience!

We’re getting a little messy and a lot creative 🏺

Our ceramics class is a favorite around here — shaping clay, trying new glazes, and hanging out with friends while making something cool. There’s always laughter, a few happy accidents, and plenty of “wow, I made that?!” moments. Just one of the many ways our community keeps life fun, social, and hands-on 🎨✨

Our hearts are still smiling! 💖🍪

We were absolutely spoiled today by a wonderful group of Girl Scouts who stopped by our community to spread the love. From handmade Valentine’s cards and delicious cookies to a joyful song that had everyone beaming, they truly made the day unforgettable for our seniors.

Thank you, Girl Scouts, for filling our community with laughter, music, and so much love! 💐✨

☕️Sweet moments & happy hearts!

We had such a wonderful weekend welcoming San Jose Restoration Church to The Watermark at Almaden. Our residents enjoyed a cozy hot chocolate tasting along with fun games and creative crafts and most of all, meaningful time spent together. Laughter filled the room, smiles were everywhere, and it was truly a day full of connection and joy. Thank you for sharing your time and kindness with our community ✨

We had such a wonderful time hosting a flower arranging program at The Watermark at Almaden! Residents got creative, shared lots of laughs, and filled the room with beautiful blooms—and even better company. Moments like these remind us that joy, creativity, and connection never go out of style 💐

🥧 Learning Never Tasted So Sweet at The Watermark at Almaden! 🥧

Earlier this week, our residents rolled up their sleeves for a delicious session of Watermark University, led by our talented baker, Bruna 👩‍🍳✨

Bruna guided everyone step-by-step through the art of making a pie, sharing tips, techniques, and plenty of smiles along the way. Our residents were fully engaged, asked great questions, and loved learning something new—especially when it involved baking!

From crust to filling, this hands-on class was filled with curiosity, laughter, and of course… a little sweetness. We love seeing our residents continue to learn, explore new skills, and enjoy meaningful experiences together.

We had a wonderful time welcoming our newest residents at our monthly New Resident Social! The afternoon was filled with great company, delicious appetizers, and island vibes thanks to Timo, who brought the room to life with his steel drum music.

A special thank-you to Bertha from Fortino Winery for pouring a delightful selection of wines that everyone enjoyed. It was the perfect way to connect, relax, and celebrate new beginnings here at The Watermark at Almaden .

Brunch is back! 🥂

We hosted our Champagne Brunch this past Sunday at The Watermark at Almaden, and it was truly a treat! The celebration featured flowing mimosas, lox, crab cakes, roasted beef tenderloin, and so much more delicious food — including an expansive dessert spread. 🍰✨

From great company to incredible flavors, this Champagne Brunch was one to remember. We can’t wait for the next one!
