🧡 SILVER CREEK MEMBER SPOTLIGHT SERIES: GRACE
Living Life to the Fullest 💗
October is about more than pink — it’s about power, perseverance, and purpose.
This month, we’re shining a light on several incredible breast cancer survivors from our Orangetheory Silver Creek family, whose strength and resilience inspire us every single day.
Our first spotlight goes to Grace, a breast cancer survivor whose story radiates positivity, balance, and a deep passion for living life to its fullest.
“In June 2021, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. After months of surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation, I wrapped up my treatment in February 2022. By January 2023, I retired from my career as a Physicist & Materials Scientist and stepped into a whole new chapter—one filled with strength, health, and a whole lot of adventure. 💗
Orangetheory Fitness has become such an important part of my physical and mental wellbeing. I aim for 3 OTF classes each week, sprinkle in some vinyasa yoga on other days, and make it a point to walk 2–3 miles every day. I used to be a runner, but now I bike more to give my knees a break—and I’m so grateful that OTF coaches and equipment always offer modifications to help me keep moving strong. 🚴♀️✨
When I’m not in the studio, you’ll find me traveling, reading, and even taking Spanish lessons to keep my mind sharp. 📚✈️
For me, survivorship isn’t just about getting through treatment—it’s about living life to the fullest. I’m so grateful for the journey, and I’m here to encourage anyone who’s facing their own battles to keep pushing forward. Drop a 🎀 in the comments to show love for all the warriors out there! 💪💗”
Grace, your story is a reminder that strength isn’t just found in the studio—it’s in how we live, love, and keep moving forward every single day. 💓
Stay tuned as we continue to celebrate more inspiring survivor stories throughout the month.
If you or someone you know in our Silver Creek community would like to be highlighted this month, let us know — we’d love to share your story.
