ON HER 80TH B-DAY, GRANDMA GATHERED OUR ESTRANGED FAMILY AND DIED RIGHT BEFORE REVEALING HER REAL WILL: WHO’LL GET IT ALL?

Our family hated each other, to be sure. Mom never cared about anything except her acting. My brother totally lost it, marrying this Stacy girl — an obvious gold digger. So, my husband Scott and I moved far away from this madness.
We became so estranged that when I got pregnant, I didn’t even want to tell them. Why bother when Mom would ignore my kid just like she ignored me?
The one I truly loved was Grandma. Boy, she was there for me all the time. Nana was the only light in this crazy family. So, when she gathered all these weirdos for her 80th b-day, Scott and I agreed to go.
It was tense from the start, but everyone tried not to upset Nana. Finally, she said:
“Kids, I’ve made a will. All my money will go to the one who earned my trust.”
Suddenly, any attempt to keep it civil just went out the window. My brother and I started throwing aggressive comments at each other, trying to hurt the most. Mom joined in with her cold remarks — madness! It turned into a full-blown fight — everyone trying to prove they deserved the money. Suddenly, we heard a loud thud — Grandma had fainted!
As I rushed towards her, I felt IT. Fear hit me even harder!

Me: Scott... It’s happening...
Scott: WHAT? YOU’RE IN LABOR?!
Brother: You were pregnant?!
Mom: I’m going to be a grandma?!
Me: Jesus! Grandma! Call 911!

Six years ago, Mike and his grandmother, Grace, had a huge fallout. Grace had asked him to attend church with her on a particular day, but Mike, then 18 and eager to spend time with his friends, declined. That “no” sparked an argument, and neither spoke to the other again. Shortly after, Grace passed away.

When her will was read, Mike was stunned. She’d left everything—her massive house and estate—to her church, even though Mike could have used that inheritance to improve his own life. Instead, all she left him was her Bible and a note that read, “Open it when it’s hard.”

"I HOPE MOMMY COMES SOON," ORPHAN GIRL PRAYS AT BEDTIME, HEARS MOM'S VOICE THE NEXT MORNING

"Dear God. Please, please, please bring my mommy back soon. Please, bring Mommy back to me," Angelina prayed. She repeated the same thing several times then turned to Hannah. "How do I finish?"

"You say 'Amen.'"

"Amen!" Angelina almost yelled.

"Everyone, go to bed now!" they heard the call from their foster parents, and Angelina rushed to get back in bed.

"I hope God was listening," Angelina whispered to Hannah.

"He always is," Hannah assured her.

The next morning, their foster parents made breakfast for everyone, but Angelina was a little sad.

"You said God would bring my mommy back," she complained to the older girl.

"I told you he would. But it takes time. You have to wait, but he will do something," Hannah replied as she ate her pancakes.

Suddenly, the bell rang. "Who could that be?" their foster mother said.

"Mrs. Franklin?" someone asked from the door.

Angelina's ears perked up. The voice was eerily familiar to her. It sounded like her mother.

So, there I was, waiting at the airport to surprise my husband and join him on his business trip to France. I had it all planned out, ready for a romantic getaway. But then I spotted him... and let's just say, surprise plans were canceled.

He was holding hands with another woman. "Brian!" I shouted. He turned around, eyes wide, and immediately dropped her hand. "Ava, what are you doing here?" he stammered.

"I wanted to surprise you, and spend time together in Paris," I managed to say. But instead of joy, I got a cold response. "This isn't a good time, Ava. It's a business trip," he snapped, snatching my ticket and ripping it apart. "And before you go making assumptions, she's just a colleague. Go. Home."

I stood there, crushed. "I thought we were trying to fix things," I whispered, tears starting to form.

"This was a mistake. Leave," Brian said, turning away as he grabbed the woman's hand and walked off. And there I was, sinking to the floor, sobbing against my suitcase. That's when he found me.

"Are you okay?" a voice asked gently. I looked up to see the kindest eyes I'd ever seen... and a pilot's uniform. The guy was handsome.
