“We’re Neurodiverse Universe, we’re a Meetup group run for and by neurodivergent adults who are seeking to find community. We’re inviting everyone who identifies as neurodivergent to come to our holiday party this Sunday, November 14 at the Willow Glen Wheelhouse. Our group’s ethos is that people like us can be our true selves when we’re with people who share the same experiences. Our holiday party will be an inclusive and relaxed occasion to make new friends during one of the most emotionally challenging times of the year. We have only one rule: come as you are . We hope to see you there!“

Happy Monday! Get • An East County family has launched a pizza restaurant with a mission: creating employment opportunities for people with special needs.

Pizzabilities, which opened last summer in Alpine, was founded by the Baker family after their 19-year-old daughter Grace, who has Down Syndrome, struggled to find work.
