A place to BELONG and GROW in downtown San Jose. Hours: Monday through Friday from 10am-4pm. Members Our loving accountability empowers growth and recovery.

RCSJ creates community that supports healing from trauma, addiction, homelessness, and mental health challenges. We provide a refuge where members gather for group meals, participate in Recovery Circles, take classes to learn job and life skills, make connections to other community resources, and enjoy social activities in a sober and supportive environment.

Adrian is celebrating two years as our Resource Navigation Specialist! 🙌

Every week, Adrian is here at the café meeting with our members, helping with job applications, navigating housing resources, securing bus passes, and so much more. He doesn’t just hand out resources; he shows up, listens, and helps people access the support they deserve.

From career guidance to housing support to transportation access, Adrian is the person our community can count on. He’s a champion for connection, a mentor, and a true example of what it means to serve.

Thank you, Adrian, for two years of dedication. Here’s to many more!!

Thank you to our community partners, Pacific Hearing Connection, a nonprofit offering affordable hearing healthcare and aids to those in need. They visited our space, provided orientation, and conducted hearing exams. We rely on such partnerships to support our members' health and wellbeing and deeply appreciate these collaborations.

Thanks to our young community partners, Jack and Jill of America, for supporting our work and members. During MLK weekend, they came together to assemble snack and hygiene bags for our community, honoring Martin Luther King’s memory through giving back. It’s inspiring to see the next generation step up for their community, and we believe the world will be brighter with them as future leaders who care about creating a more just society.

Huge thank you to Elisa for hosting a fun and informative Hanukkah luncheon for our community this past Wednesday ✨

Our Chef Chris prepared a special meal in honor of Hanukkah, and Elisa shared the rich history and meaningful traditions behind the Jewish celebration. We’re so grateful for moments like these that bring learning, culture, and community together 💙🕎

A Place to Belong and Grow

RCSJ is a healing community for those traumatized by addiction, homelessness, and mental health challenges. We provide a refuge where members gather for group meals, participate in Recovery Circles, take classes to learn job and life skills, make connections to other community resources, and enjoy social activities in a safe, sober, and supportive environment. For those interested in joining our community, New Member Orientation is given each Tuesday at 1 PM. Plan to arrive by 12:30 to sign in and get lunch and stay til 2 PM.
