He is a certified Imago Relationship Therapist, a certified Life Coach with Life Purpose Institute of San Diego CA, has a Mediation Certificate from the University of California Hastings School of the Law, and is a certified Safe Conversations Workshop Leader and Crucial Conversations® Trainer. He is a member of the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE), an organization that provides the highest quality of Clinical Pastoral Education for spiritual care professionals.

Chuck Starnes has an M.A. degree from Pepperdine University and over 25 years' experience in pastoral counseling working with couples. He also provides training to help organizations increase productivity through better communication skills. He is a member of the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE), a certified Crucial Conversations® Trainer, and has a Mediation Certificate from the University of California Hastings School of the Law. He and his wife Sandy have been married for 39 years, have two daughters and two grandchildren, and live in San Jose, California.
