Can Sauna Help with Fibromyalgia?
Fibromyalgia is classified as a chronic condition and is known to cause pain, stiffness, and tender points in either muscles, tendons, and joints. These symptoms may be accompanied by restless sleep, chronic fatigue, anxiety, depression, and disturbances in bowel function.
Multiple studies have shown that people who regularly use Far-Infrared Sauna (FIR) along with exercise see significant improvements in pain scores, reduced symptom frequency and severity, fewer tender spots, more energy, and overall improved quality of life. Most subjects experienced benefits with just 2-3x 30 minute FIR sessions at temperatures of ~160 F per week.
Starting at just $99/mo, a Membership to PRL includes at least 2x FIR sessions per week, as well as CryoTherapy, Chiropractic Adjustments, and NormaTec Compression Therapy.
