Do you enjoy working with high school students and young adults? The GoodHealth program embraces the values and ethics provided by Goodwill of Silicon Valley in order to enhance and enrich our priority population of moderate to severe special education students throughout Silicon Valley school districts. The GoodHealth program provides equal access to health education, work opportunities, and mobility training through meaningful classroom health education lessons, on-site volunteer experience, and monthly field trip activities. GoodHealth’s vision is to build the capacity of each participant to manage their life healthfully as an individual, community member, peer, and family member in a way that empowers them to become their own advocates. GoodHealth offers a full year of in-school class instruction by building skills in various areas of health including, nutrition, personal hygiene, substance abuse prevention, personal safety, and sex education.
