I really need to post more often! As physically diff as my job is, it is so emotionally rewarding it’s not even a contest. I started seeing this young women probably ten years ago and she was SO scared of having her teeth cleaned. Times have changed. She ROCKED IT the other day. I love what I do. ❤️❤️❤️

This is the third time I’ve seen this young man in his home for teeth cleaning. He trusts me now. His smile is worth all the time and patience it took to get him to this place. ❤️

You can not imagine how proud I am of this young man and how far he has come. He used to be frightened, he trusts me now. He knows I won’t hurt him.
Part of that is because I use topical anesthetic ”sleepy juice” on his gums when I clean his teeth. After his appointment today he told me repeatedly how much he liked sleepy juice. I had to capture a moment. 😂❤️🥰. Love this guy!!!!!

I’m feeling very fortunate tonight. My patient Michael who was so anxious years ago has fallen into a routine with me. He knows exactly what to expect and he’s really good with my visits now. He knows I will play his favorite musician Andy Williams for him, especially raindrops keep falling on my head and moon river. He knows if he is good he will get a toothbrush, toothpaste, floss picks and a mouthwash. He was so good today I even gave him a medal! He always wears this blue shirt when I see him because I told him it looks so good on him. I’m so fortunate to have found this career. I’ve got the best patients!
