First day of PE class was a success! We currently provide PE to the Ohkay Owingeh Community School 5th and 6th grade classes. First day went smoothly and we hope to have an awesome school year with them! Teaching them about health, nutrition, and skill building. with physical fitness.

Movie Night! Thursday April 20, 2023, at 6pm, at Gym.
This Thursday April 20, 2023, we will be showing a movie in collaboration with ENIPC's Peacekeeper program, Ohkay Owingeh Youth Substance and Opioid Abuse Prevention Program (OOYSOAP), Tribal Opioid Response (TOR), Tribal Youth Program, and Native Connections for Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
The movie we are showing is Wind River and we will have popcorn, nachos, and drinks. Please stop by and show support for this important topic.

We are having our 2nd Annual Easter Egg hunt this Saturday April 8, 2023. It's for tribal youth and community members. It will be held at the community gym from 10am to 11am. Registration will begin at 9am so please be there at 9am to sign up. We are having three age groups: 10-12yr, 6-9yr, & 1-5yr. There will be food, prizes, and fun! Please come join us!

We would like to announce that the Ohkay Owingeh Teen Gathering is now open for Ohkay Owingeh Community teens ages 12yr to 17yr. It is a place for them to come together and hangout after school from 3pm to 6pm. We will provide snacks and activities like pool table games, computers, video games, field trips, movies, and educational programs. Come and join us for a Valentine's Family Night on Friday, February 10, 2023, from 6pm to 8pm. This event is for Ohkay Owingeh families and youth and will take place @ the community gym. Each will be able to make colored flowers, Valentine's Cards, and other Valentine's themed arts & crafts. Supplies will be provided.

On top of that we are showing a Valentine's movie and will be giving out nachos, popcorn, pickles, and drinks.

Here are some pictures from our 2022 end of the year giveaway. We would like to thank all the individuals that donated! The prizes all went to individuals & youth who came to our events throughout the year.

How it worked
For various community events we handed raffle tickets out to each individual and youth who came to our events and their ticket was entered for this end of year giveaway. Each person received one ticket for each event they showed up to.
