After 17 years of extraordinary leadership, FRN’s longtime Executive Director, Eileen Crumm is stepping down. Eileen has helped grow FRN from a single room into an independent organization with more than 30 staff members that provides support for over 2,500 families each year. We are deeply grateful for her vision, care, and unwavering commitment to people with disabilities and their families.

We’re thrilled to announce that our next Executive Director is someone from the FRN family – April Key-Lee. April first came to FRN as a parent seeking support, then volunteered as an IEP mentor. She joined staff as a parent navigator, leading programs, launching our Family Empower Center and most recently serving as Director of Finance and Operations. As a parent of two children with disabilities, April has a deep knowledge of and passion for our mission.

Please join us in thanking Eileen for her exceptional service and welcoming April as she leads Family Resource Navigators into our next chapter!

Supported Decision-Making is all about making sure everyone has the support they need to make their own choices at each stage of life. On our new website, you’ll find modules, tools, videos, graphics, and resources for self-advocates, parents, and educators.

The next Free Diaper Kit Giveaway is on Thursday, December 11 at 11:00 am - 12:00 pm at the Downtown Library (Entrance facing C Street)! Diaper distribution for low-income Hayward residents will continue on a month by month basis.

✔️Diapers in sizes 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6
✔️1 free kit per child
✔️Each kit contains 80-100 diapers and 200 wipes
✔️Available only while supplies last
