Today I got to attend a prenatal appointment for a family whose birth I’m going to be at as the assistant midwife. At the prenatal, the midwives, student, and family drew affirmations to hang in the birth space. This was my contribution 😊

- Aiming for statewide participation. ANBC pursuing partnerships to support limited travel scholarships.
- Prework may be required if new to birthwork.
- Training cost: $0, with commitment to use knowledge and skills gained to serve at least one Native birthing family within one year of the training.

Starting June 23, 2022, join us on the 2nd & 4th Thursdays at 3 pm EST / 12 pm PST for Perinatal Support for Latinx Moms & Birthing People!

This group is for anyone who is pregnant or postpartum (up to two years) and identifies as Latina, Latinx, or Latino. There is no definition or level of being “enough Latinx.” All are welcome who have a familial connection to Latinx culture. Our online groups are here to help you connect with other parents, talk about your experience, and learn about helpful tools and resources. Whether you are going through stress, adjustment to parenting, baby blues, or pregnancy or postpartum depression/anxiety, our groups are here for you.This group is in English, so group members will benefit most if they can understand and speak some English (perfection is not required!).
