We're excited to share that, as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Hearst Cancer Resource Center and French Hospital are offering free mammograms to uninsured patients at the Women's Health and Imaging Center. There are two sessions planned, on Oct. 8 and Oct. 22 in San Luis Obispo.
Appointments are required. Please call (805) 235-3641 for more information.

Stepping into the NICU can feel overwhelming. It's a world of specialized equipment, constant monitoring and dedicated medical professionals working tirelessly to care for your precious little one.

Here's what you might expect:
A busy environment: The NICU is often a bustling place with lots of activity.
Specialized equipment: You'll see incubators, monitors, ventilators and other devices that help support your baby's health.
Dedicated staff: Doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals are there to provide round-the-clock care.
Visiting hours: There are usually specific visiting hours to allow for rest and procedures.
