We Kicked off the week with our Ventura County Law Enforcement Torch Run kickoff at the Ventura Police Department! 🔥🏃‍♂️

We were proud to bring together law enforcement partners from across Ventura County to support Special Olympics athletes and the mission of inclusion.

Thank you to the incredible agencies who showed up: Ventura County Probation, Ventura County DA’s Office, California Highway Patrol, Oxnard Police Department, Port Hueneme Police Department, Simi Valley Police Department, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Ventura County Sheriff’s Office, and Ventura Police Department.

Together we’re carrying the Flame of Hope and continuing to champion inclusion in our community. 💙

The CVUSD March Madness Basketball Game brought the community together at Westlake High School with our incredible unified guest team from Newbury Park High School.

Today also marked Spread the Word Day, and we were proud to see Westlake High School recognized as a National Unified Champion School and receive their banner! From the energy of the WHS Unified Cheer team (Sparkles), to performances by the band and K-pop group, and an exciting unified basketball game between Newbury and Westlake, the gym was full of spirit, inclusion, and unified pride.

Everyone showed up in their unified swag and truly made it a day to remember. 💙

Great job, Tri-County teams! This weekend’s Floorball Championships were full of teamwork, fun, and memories that will last a lifetime. We took home lots of medals, and our very own Coach Jaime was named Coach of the Season! Huge congratulations, and thank you to our incredible athletes and coaches who made it all possible. Next up… spring season!
