New data suggest that breastfeeding is safe for patients with stage I-III breast cancer who have hormone receptor (HR)-positive disease or carry BRCA variants.
This is excellent news for new mothers who also have a breast cancer diagnosis. Our hearts go out to these women... but one less thing to worry about.
