Today I share my current Mamamorphosis transformation with a little symbolism, a little humor...

After moving our one and only son into the college dorms last week, I said this to some friends:

Moving your child to college is a bit like giving birth-

The last couple of weeks we are finishing the final details, waiting, there seems to be some spare time... but we know its almost crunch time.

The very last week is like labor-painful, emotional, uncomfortable, almost there, but not happening yet.

Then it’s go time! Move in day! Exciting! A bit of a struggle, a lot of activity, a lot of people helping, a big relief, more emotions. And finally pride and joy when it's all over.

Except that it takes 18 years gestation to birth a college student!

Sending BIG love, best thoughts and wonderful wishes to all Moms about to give birth... to a baby OR a college student!

😴Sleep... the final frontier. Sleep is when we heal. But most new Moms/Parents get interrupted sleep for the first year and oftentimes for many years after baby is born. My baby slept through the night at 14 months; I didn't sleep through the night until 3-4 years!

Also, Mother Nature prioritizes the newest generation. When we breastfeed, our bodies use our energy to make milk for the baby. Our own healing takes a back seat. Coupled with decreased sleep quantity and quality means delayed healing for Mommy after childbirth. 😫😭

After listening to my clients and research about sleep benefits, I am opening a Napping Room! 🙌🏻🎉 It is a deep healing experience with all five senses nurtured to help the body do its amazing healing.

At this time, I am offering naps to Mommies to start with.

30/45/60 minute options

The sleep and healing experience includes:
😴a non-EMF heating mat with tourmaline and jade. Imagine a hot stone treatment but for the entire body. For back/stomach/side sleepers;
😴a weighted blanked to calm the nervous system;
😴a water feature with nature sounds for auditory relaxation;
😴a Vibrant Blue Oils organic essential oil Sleep formula. I was dubious but there is research behind it!;
😴a gently weighted eye pillow
😴a plush massage table intentionally chosen so stomach sleepers have proper neck and head support and alignment.
