Today I read my family a few pages from this beautiful book and together we paused.. just for a couple of moments. No talking, no screens, no activities. Just a second to be. And my nervous system slowed. My anxiety softened. I smiled. This is what mindfulness does. A mindful moment can be a second to really notice a tree outside our window, or a slower bite where we notice a flavor or a crunch of our favorite food, or a hand on our heart to check in with ourselves. I hope today you can be gentle with yourself. I hope today you can see the precious gems around and within you. What was your mindful moment today? 🩵🩵🩵
