We had a blast with Islander's Luau. Complete with Fire Dancer, Hula girls and residents having fun. Wait to see what we have planned for fall!

August brought our very first carnival to San Marcos. Our awesome Executive Director even got into the dunk tank. We had a food booth complete with Cracker Jacks, jello shots, pretzels, and churros. Game booths with a Spin to Win it Wheel, Knock Over Cans, Ring the Bottle, and Basketball.

Our games ended with our Great Employee Race: an obstacle course which included hurdles, stacking blocks, running and more. Residents had fun cheering on our team. Our team knows how to have fun and compete!

We have lunch and dinner outings. We have great fun, camaraderie and try food from different eateries.

We had fun doing some outdoor games in honor of team USA! Katie Ledecky, Simone Biles and the US fencing team may have a gold medal, however here at Brookdale we take gold in the most fun. We had a parade of nations, trivia, kickball, axe throwing and more. Swing on by and see us have fun. Check our closing ceremony on August 8th at 1 pm for the great employee race.
