Weāve installed some new lighting into our studio!!
Exercising under bright lights can have several benefits, especially when it comes to mood, energy, and performance. Hereās why:
1. Boosts Alertness and Energy
Bright lightāespecially in the morningācan suppress melatonin (the sleep hormone) and increase cortisol (a hormone that helps you stay awake and alert), which can make you feel more energetic and ready to work out.

Exposure to bright light can boost serotonin levels, helping reduce symptoms of depression or low mood, particularly in people with seasonal affective disorder (SAD) or those who train indoors during darker months.
3. Enhances Exercise Performance

4. Helps Regulate Sleep-Wake Cycles
Regular exposure to bright light during daytime workouts can reinforce your circadian rhythm, helping you sleep better at night, which in turn enhances recovery and performance.

A well-lit environment can make a gym feel more energetic and less dreary, increasing your likelihood of staying motivated and consistent with workouts.
