A community’s success hinges on a common trait - reliability. 1. Can members rely on themselves? Showing up for their own goals. 2. Can members rely on each other? Being a good example for newer and older members. 3. Can members rely on their coaches? Being consistent and down to earth with their guidance. 4. Can coaches rely on their members? To be honest and truthful about their journeys. 5. Communication across the board. Being on the same ship, do we all share a common goal of wellness, regardless of individual level? Are we supportive of each other? Are we being open to be coached? Are we all grateful to be where we are today? … so that our progress becomes meaningful, intentional and sustainable?

Beyond skills, strength and experience… is reliability for one another. We are all here for you - whether you’ve just started your journey, have been on this long road, or trying to get back on it. LET’s GO!

Community isn’t just about social engagements in and outside of the gym. A large part of why we are successful is because of accountability. Our coaches and members combined holds a plethora of knowledge and experience. We can guarantee you that collectively, we can get just about anything done. For the most part, we get into a weekly and monthly rhythm. Hitting the gym at least 3 days a week, cold plunge every week, or a monthly massage. But what about more on a micro scale? Are you moving AND breathing in sync? Are you inhaling/exhaling at each rep? Are you even aware if you breathe or hold your breath? And you find yourself gasping for air 2min into your workout? Results are contingent on the consistency in different domains of discipline over time - sleep, nutrition, exercise, mental health, emotional maturity, stress management, etc. It doesn’t mean perfection, however. Life is complex and so is the pursuit of its balance. So hold steady and find ways to enjoy the journey.

Like stone workers and wood workers, the fruition of their labor isn’t seen after each stroke of their tool… but over time, day after day of showing up, thousands upon thousands of repetitions. Pursuit each rep with virtuosity.

If the movement prescription calls for quick and snappy… appropriately load the bar to stay quick and snappy. Chase a crispy movement PR versus a sloppy “heavy” PR.

🏀The Old School Hustle (OSH) Basketball Academy's Summer Camp is a focused 5-day program designed to optimize off-season development.

⛹️‍♂️Recognizing the post-season fatigue and potential injuries athletes face, the camp prioritizes fundamental skill refinement alongside a comprehensive strength and conditioning regimen. We emphasize proper recovery protocols, nutritional guidance, and sleep optimization to facilitate effective rebuilding for the upcoming season. Our curriculum focuses on foundational skills, ensuring athletes develop sound habits and a deeper understanding of game play.

💯Participants will gain a clear understanding of the importance and application of strength and conditioning, the role of nutrition in performance, and establish a robust skill base for future success.

Intensity is relative and should be applied to ALL different aspects of performance.

Familiar with the movement with sound mechanics and proper confidence? Load up the bar!

New to the movement? Let’s keep it light, but bring the intensity by moving with intention for learning new motor patterns.

Knowledgeable about the movement, but intended time domains is unfamiliar territory? Focus on hitting the intended Rate of Perceived Exertion (RPE) for the program. Example: A Fran (or Fran-type) workout should be completed with a particular load within 4 minutes. Are you able to push your mind and body thru those performance limits? Or perhaps longer workouts are a challenge because you are the type to go hot right out of the gate and hit the wall as quickly as starting - perhaps pacing is where we need to infuse intense focus on.

Each workout has specific, intended goals within the “Rx.” Beyond the weight, it’s also about the mechanics and target heart rate - some are sprint WODs, while others are like a marathon, and everything in between. Apply “intensity” in all aspects and realize your Performance Web grow.
